Meet Mila, the first person to join Cronar

Every studio has a first person who joins the founders. For Cronar, that person is Mila, our Social Media Manager.
Choosing our first team member was a big step. It meant bringing someone else into the work we care about, sharing creative decisions, and beginning to build a team. Mila’s ideas made us want to take that step with her.
What caught our attention
When we started talking to Mila, we liked the way she thought about photography and video. The visual styles she was drawn to, the ideas she brought forward, and how she imagined those ideas coming to life gave us a lot to talk about.
We could picture working through concepts together. Taking an initial thought, exploring a few directions, and finding a way to make it feel right for a particular brand. That creative exchange was a big part of why we wanted her to join.
Social media is full of decisions that seem small: a photo selection, the pace of an edit, the opening frame of a video. Together, they shape how a brand feels. We wanted someone who would bring her own perspective to those decisions, and we saw that in Mila.
A different starting point
Mila has a degree in German language. Her path into social media began in a different field, and we liked getting to know the creative interests she had developed alongside it.
Studying a language involves paying attention to meaning, context, and how a message comes across. Those are useful questions in our work, too. A brand might know what it wants to say, but finding the right words and visuals takes thought.
What made us choose Mila was the thinking she shared with us: her ideas for photos and videos, her visual taste, and the possibilities she saw in the content.
Building the team, together
As our Social Media Manager, Mila brings that perspective into the way we develop social content at Cronar. Her role connects closely with our branding and design work, helping carry a brand’s identity into the things people see from it every day.
For us as founders, having her on the team also creates room for another point of view. Someone to exchange ideas with, develop a direction with, and bring something we might not have thought of ourselves.
That is what made this first hire feel right.
This is our first entry on Cronar Insights, and introducing Mila felt like a good place to start. The work we share here will come from the people behind the studio: what catches our attention, what we learn, and the ideas we want to explore.
Mila is the first person to join us in building that. We’re happy to have her here.
